Sashi Kiran, the newly appointed Minister for Women, Children, and Social Protection, has expressed her dedication to tackling the ongoing challenges facing society. Following her swearing-in ceremony at the State House, Kiran emphasized the significance of her role, stating, “This is a responsibility I take with the utmost humility, knowing that the work of this ministry touches the very heart of our nation—our families, our communities, and our future.”
Kiran took a moment to recognize the contributions of her predecessor, Lynda Tabuya, highlighting the solid foundation laid during her tenure. “Her leadership has laid a foundation upon which we will continue to build,” Kiran noted, showing appreciation for the groundwork that facilitates future progress.
