President Ratu Naiqama Lalabalavu recently expressed his confidence in the newly appointed Minister for Women, Children, and Social Protection, Sashi Kiran, who is recognized for her extensive experience as a social worker and founder of FRIEND Fiji. Ms. Kiran officially took her oath during a ceremony at Government House.
Ratu Naiqama highlighted Kiran’s profound understanding of the complexities and challenges facing women and children, thanks in part to her previous role as Assistant Minister under Hon. Lynda Tabuya. He believes that her leadership will significantly benefit this vital ministry.
