With over 25 years of experience in the museum and arts sector, Mr. Lowe previously served as the Manager of City Arts at Wellington City Council and as the CEO of Te Manawa Museum in New Zealand for nearly a decade. The Fiji Museum Board of Trustees, chaired by Kate Vusoniwailala, expressed enthusiasm about Mr. Lowe’s appointment, noting his strong track record in building successful partnerships with various stakeholders. The position of CEO for the Fiji Museum was newly created following an organizational review and restructure conducted in 2024 by Grant Thornton (PwC).
