This development comes after the unexpected resignation of Pita Wise, who stated personal reasons for stepping down yesterday. Rokovada expressed hope that the Prime Minister would reach a decision today, enabling the prompt appointment of the best individual for the Permanent Secretary position. He also mentioned that an announcement would be made in the near future.
