The Land Transport Authority’s Board of Directors has appointed Irimaia Rokosawa as the Chief Executive Officer. Rokosawa brings more than 20 years of experience in financial management and public service.
LTA Board Chairperson Inosi Kuridrani expressed confidence in Rokosawa’s capability to lead the organization towards improved service delivery, innovation, and operational efficiency. He noted that Rokosawa’s performance as Acting CEO in recent months has been outstanding, and there is strong assurance that he will maintain LTA’s commitment to providing safe, reliable, and efficient land transport services for all Fijians.
Rokosawa has held various important positions within the LTA and other notable government and financial institutions. His expertise and leadership were acknowledged when he was appointed as the Interim Deputy Chairperson of the Accident Compensation Commission of Fiji (ACCF) in April 2024, further demonstrating his dedication to public service and the welfare of Fijian citizens.
Rokosawa will officially assume his role as LTA Chief Executive Officer starting October 1.
