The Land Transport Authority’s Board of Directors has named Irimaia Rokosawa as the new Chief Executive Officer. Rokosawa brings over 20 years of experience in financial management and public service to the role.
LTA Board Chairperson Inosi Kuridrani expressed confidence in Rokosawa’s ability to steer the organization towards improved service delivery, innovation, and operational efficiency. He noted that Rokosawa’s contributions as Acting CEO in recent months have been outstanding, and he believes that under Rokosawa’s leadership, the LTA will maintain its dedication to providing safe, reliable, and efficient land transport services for all Fijians.
Rokosawa has held several important positions within the LTA as well as in other prominent government and financial entities. His expertise and leadership were further acknowledged when he was appointed as the Interim Deputy Chairperson of the Accident Compensation Commission of Fiji (ACCF) in April 2024, underscoring his commitment to public service and the welfare of Fijian citizens.
Rokosawa’s official appointment as LTA Chief Executive Officer will take effect on October 1.
