New Leadership: Irimaia Rokosawa Named LTA CEO

The Land Transport Authority (LTA) Board of Directors has appointed Irimaia Rokosawa as the new Chief Executive Officer. With more than 20 years of experience in financial management and public service, Rokosawa is expected to lead the LTA into a future characterized by improved service delivery, innovation, and operational efficiency.

LTA Board Chairperson Inosi Kuridrani expressed confidence in Rokosawa’s abilities, noting that his performance as Acting CEO over recent months has been commendable. Kuridrani emphasized that the LTA will continue to focus on providing safe, reliable, and efficient transport services for the people of Fiji under Rokosawa’s leadership.

Rokosawa has held several key positions within the LTA and various significant government and financial institutions. In recognition of his expertise, he was appointed as the Interim Deputy Chairperson of the Accident Compensation Commission of Fiji (ACCF) in April 2024. This role underscores his commitment to public service and the well-being of Fijian citizens.

Rokosawa will officially assume the role of CEO at the LTA starting October 1.
