The Land Transport Authority’s Board of Directors has named Irimaia Rokosawa as the new Chief Executive Officer. With over 20 years of experience in financial management and public service, Rokosawa is expected to lead the LTA toward improved service delivery, innovation, and operational efficiency. LTA Board Chairperson Inosi Kuridrani expressed confidence in Rokosawa’s capabilities, citing his exemplary performance as Acting CEO in recent months. Kuridrani assured that Rokosawa’s leadership will help maintain the LTA’s commitment to providing safe, reliable, and efficient land transport services for all Fijians. Rokosawa has previously held significant positions within the LTA as well as other important government and financial organizations. His dedication to public service was further recognized when he was appointed Interim Deputy Chairperson of the Accident Compensation Commission of Fiji in April 2024. Rokosawa will officially assume his role as CEO of the LTA on October 1.
