New Leadership at LTA: Irimaia Rokosawa Takes the Helm

The Land Transport Authority has named Irimaia Rokosawa as its new Chief Executive Officer. With more than 20 years of experience in financial management and public service, Rokosawa is well-equipped for the role. LTA Board Chairperson Inosi Kuridrani expressed confidence in Rokosawa’s capabilities, believing he will lead the organization towards improved service delivery, innovation, and operational efficiency.

Kuridrani praised Rokosawa’s contributions as Acting CEO in recent months, stating that under his leadership, the LTA is set to maintain its promise of providing safe, reliable, and efficient transport services for all Fijians. Rokosawa’s extensive background includes various important positions within the LTA and other prominent government and financial institutions.

In April 2024, he was also appointed as the Interim Deputy Chairperson of the Accident Compensation Commission of Fiji, which further underscores his commitment to public service and the betterment of Fijian citizens’ interests. Rokosawa’s official appointment as CEO of the LTA will commence on October 1.
