New Ferry Launch Enhances Fiji’s Island Travel Experience!

MICKS Fiji Tours & Transfers has announced the launch of their new boat service, the “Keje Na Mahi Flyer,” to elevate the travel experience among the islands. This state-of-the-art vessel will facilitate daily transfers and private charters to the Mamanuca and Yasawa islands, as well as various smaller islands in the Western Division, accommodating up to 16 passengers.

During the handover ceremony at the Kaika Marine Fiji Pte Limited Ship Building Facility in Momi, Minister for Trade Manoa Kamikamica highlighted the significance of this acquisition for the company’s future endeavors in the tourism sector. He stressed the vital role of tourism, which contributes approximately 40 percent to the national GDP, and acknowledged the importance of businesses involved in this industry.

Mr. Kamikamica expressed optimism that MICKS Fiji Tours would enhance visitor experiences in Fiji, citing government programs designed to support local businesses and create job opportunities in communities. He praised Merchant Finance for their contribution to funding this initiative.

Sitiveni Leseitoga, director of MICKS Fiji Tours & Transfers, remarked that the unveiling of the Keje Na Mahi Flyer symbolizes their commitment to maintaining high standards of service in Fiji’s evolving tourism industry.
