Tomasi Tunabuna has been appointed the new Minister for Agriculture, as confirmed by Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka in a statement today. Tunabuna, who has previously served as the Assistant Minister, will replace Acting Minister Alitia Bainivalu following the passing of the late Vatimi Rayalu.

In a related development, Inosi Kuridrani has been designated the new Assistant Minister for Agriculture. Additionally, Lynda Tabuya has been appointed Minister for Information, with Prime Minister Rabuka expressing confidence in her capabilities to enhance public relations through the ministry.
