New Era of Island Travel Arrives in Fiji

MICKS Fiji Tours & Transfers has unveiled its latest venture, the “Keje Na Mahi Flyer,” aimed at improving island travel experiences in Fiji. This state-of-the-art vessel is designed to accommodate 16 passengers and will provide both daily transfers and private charters to the Mamanuca and Yasawa islands, along with other smaller islands in the Western Division.

During the handover ceremony held at the Kaika Marine Fiji PTE Limited Ship Building Facility in Momi, Minister for Trade Manoa Kamikamica highlighted the importance of tourism to Fiji’s economy, contributing approximately 40 percent of the national GDP. He expressed confidence that the new boat transfers would significantly enhance the visitor experience in Fiji, emphasizing the role of tourism-related industries in the economic landscape.

Kamikamica also praised the Integrated Human Resource Development program, which supports local businesses like MICKS Tours in creating employment opportunities and fostering economic participation among resource owners.

Sitiveni Leseitoga, director of MICKS Fiji Tours & Transfers, expressed that the launch of the Keje Na Mahi Flyer reflects the company’s dedication to exceptional service within Fiji’s vibrant tourism sector.
