A new champion has emerged at the Triple N Zone Athletics Competition held at HFC Bank Stadium in Suva, with Lelean Memorial School winning the boys’ division title this afternoon. Lelean showcased an impressive performance, securing a total of 19 gold, 17 silver, and 10 bronze medals. Their efforts propelled them ahead of Nakasi High School, which took second place with 15 gold, 8 silver, and 11 bronze medals. Sila Central High School claimed third with 7 gold, 7 silver, and 6 bronze medals.

In the girls’ division, Adi Cakobau School (ACS) successfully defended their championship title, dominating with a remarkable tally of 31 gold, 26 silver, and 20 bronze medals. Naitasiri Secondary School followed with 6 gold, 5 silver, and 3 bronze awards, while Wainimala Secondary School rounded out the top three with 4 gold, 3 silver, and 4 bronze medals.

The competition, highlighting the talents of young athletes, reflects a vibrant community spirit and a commitment to fostering athletic talent in Fiji. The energy and participation from schools, families, and supporters demonstrate the positive culture surrounding athletics in the region.
