The 2024 Cecil’s National Club Championship is set to feature a new champion, as the defending titleholder, Ba Police, will not be competing this year. The final groupings for the tournament were announced by the Fiji Football Association, revealing an exciting lineup of teams from across the country.
A total of eight teams will participate in the championship, with representation from various regions: four teams from the Western Division, one from the Northern Division, and three from the Southern Division.
Group A includes Downtown FC from Nadroga, Rivals FC from Lautoka, Buiduna FC from Naitasiri, and Nakasi Police FC from Rewa. Meanwhile, Group B features Flying Arrows FC from Ba, Blues FC from Nadi, Friends United FC from Nasinu, and North Poles FC from Labasa, representing Vanua Levu.
The tournament will take place from Thursday, December 5th, to Sunday, December 8th, kicking off at Ratu Cakobau Park on the first day, with subsequent matches held at the Fiji Football Association ground in Vatuwaqa.
