Labasa-based attorney Ami Kohli has been appointed to the Electoral Commission following a decision made by the Constitutional Officers Commission at a recent meeting. Kohli, who serves as Principal at the Kohli & Singh law firm, is recognized for his extensive legal experience.
The current members of the Electoral Commission include Chairperson Justice Usaia Ratuvili, as well as other members: Nemani Mati, Nalini Singh, Inoke Loganimoce, Reginald Jokhan, and Dr. Atu Emberson-Bain. The Commission operates as an independent entity tasked with registering voters and ensuring the fair conduct of elections in Fiji, adhering to established electoral laws.
