BA Aspen Medical Hospital has upgraded its emergency services with the addition of two new ambulances that will support both Ba and Lautoka hospitals. This improvement significantly enhances the hospital’s ability to transport patients effectively. Glenn Keys, the founder and executive chair of Aspen Medical Pty Ltd, expressed pride in this development, stating, “We are excited to introduce two new ambulances—one for Ba and one for Lautoka.”
With this addition, the hospital will be able to double its patient transport capacity. Keys noted that while Ba Hospital provides excellent care, it lacks some of the extensive resources available at larger facilities like Lautoka. The ability to transfer patients between these hospitals is crucial for ensuring they receive the comprehensive medical attention they require, and it allows them to return to their community in Ba for recovery. Keys emphasized the importance of keeping patients close to their family and friends during their healing process.
