The Financial Hub Super League is set to reach its thrilling conclusion on October 12 at the FNU Gymnasium in Nasinu, where Suva Swift’s IGA will compete against Lautoka Stars in the final showdown.
This tournament has served as a significant platform for emerging netball talents in Fiji, and the final is expected to showcase impressive skills and fierce competition. Throughout the season, Suva Swift’s IGA has demonstrated outstanding teamwork and consistency, maintaining their position at the top of the leaderboard.
In contrast, the Lautoka Stars aim to disrupt their unbeaten streak and seize the championship title for themselves. The league has also provided crucial experience for all participating teams.
In addition to the main final, Baby Pearls Kacau will face off against Nasinu Tactix for third place, while Nadroga Stallions will compete against Baby Pearls Kikau for fifth place. Nadi and Tailevu Doves will also clash for seventh place.
Vivian Koster, CEO of Netball Fiji, emphasized the league’s importance in nurturing new talent. “It has been a long but good league season where we have unearthed new talent and seen the continued growth of athletes,” she stated.
Koster also highlighted the crucial role played by the Finance Hub’s partnership, which has supported athletes in enhancing their skills and competing at a higher level, positioning them for future national team opportunities. “Netball Fiji is always appreciative of the partnership with Finance Hub that has allowed our athletes to compete and put their case forward for selection into our national teams,” Koster added.
