Netball Fiji has announced that discussions regarding the proposed Pacific Series with Netball New Zealand will continue. President Ruby Ann Sorovaki indicated that they have reached out to Netball NZ with a request to consider canceling the series in favor of scheduling it for a later date.

The organization is currently assessing potential funding opportunities and preparing their teams for optimal performance. Sorovaki emphasized the importance of being fully prepared to meet the expectations tied to the series.

Netball New Zealand had suggested hosting the series in January 2025, replacing the usual annual series with England and Australia.

This ongoing dialogue highlights the commitment of Netball Fiji to ensure the best possible experience for both players and fans, demonstrating a proactive approach to organizing competitive events in the region.

In summary, Netball Fiji is prioritizing careful planning over rushed arrangements, which could ultimately lead to a more successful and well-received series. This cautious approach serves as a reminder of the importance of thorough preparation in sports initiatives.
