Former Flying Fijians winger Nemani Nadolo has embarked on a new coaching career in Melbourne with Box Hill Rugby. With great enthusiasm, he expressed his excitement about the opportunity to collaborate with Rayne Simpson and contribute to the first-grade team.

Nadolo shared his gratitude for being entrusted with this role, emphasizing his eagerness to impart his rugby knowledge to the senior squad. “As my playing days are over, I’m deeply grateful to the Box Hill Rugby Board for trusting me with this role and giving me the chance to share my rugby knowledge with the senior team,” he stated. He also acknowledged the distinct differences between playing and coaching, indicating his willingness to learn and adapt.

“This is an exciting new chapter in my life, and I can’t wait to learn, grow, and give my all to the journey ahead,” Nadolo affirmed. The 36-year-old retired last year due to an injury sustained while playing for the Waratahs in Super Rugby Pacific.

Nadolo’s transition from player to coach not only highlights his dedication to the sport but also sets a positive example for aspiring athletes about the possibilities that lie beyond their playing careers. His commitment to furthering his understanding of the game while supporting new players is sure to be beneficial for the rugby community in Melbourne.
