Former Flying Fijians winger Nemani Nadolo has embarked on a new chapter in his professional journey as he transitions into coaching with Box Hill Rugby in Melbourne. Emphasizing his enthusiasm, Nadolo expressed that collaborating with Rayne Simpson to coach the first-grade squad presents a unique opportunity he could not resist.

The retired rugby star shared his gratitude to the Box Hill Rugby Board for entrusting him with this significant role, allowing him to impart his extensive rugby knowledge to the senior team. Acknowledging the differences between playing and coaching, he expressed a desire to also learn and adapt as he navigates this new path.

At 36 years old, the Namatakula native from Nadroga retired last year after sustaining an injury while playing for the Waratahs in the Super Rugby Pacific. This coaching opportunity marks a positive step forward for Nadolo and offers him a platform to continue contributing to the sport he loves.

In a hopeful and optimistic tone, Nadolo stated, “This is an exciting new chapter in my life, and I can’t wait to learn, grow, and give my all to the journey ahead.” His commitment to this new venture illustrates his passion for the game and his dedication to nurturing future rugby talent.

This transition not only reflects personal growth for Nadolo but also signifies the importance of experienced players giving back to the sport. Through his coaching, Nadolo can inspire young players while continuing to stay involved in rugby, enriching the community with his vast experience and insights.
