In her victory speech, Rokowati dedicated both her achievement and the team’s victory to her supportive family back home, emphasizing their role in her rugby journey. “They’ve always supported me wherever I go, and even though they couldn’t make it to watch my game, I dedicate this win to them,” she stated.
Alongside the women’s final, the Under-21 men’s quarter-finals showcased more exciting rugby action. The defending champions, Aflame Brothers, successfully defeated Navakawau Rugby 20-10, while Naduruniu triumphed over the Village Boys 17-5.
