Simione Damuni’s impressive four-goal performance was the highlight of Navua’s 6-2 victory over champions Lautoka in Round 11 of the Digicel Fiji Premier League at the Uprising Sports Centre in Pacific Harbour.

Navua set an aggressive tone from the start, going up 3-0 by halftime with Damuni scoring twice and Rahul Krishna adding another.

Despite Lautoka’s efforts to rally back in the second half with goals from Ilimotama Jese and Sakaraia Naisua, Navua maintained control.

Damuni completed his hat-trick and added one more, while Ali Mekawir scored one, sealing a resounding win for the Saiyad Ali-coached side.
