Simione Damuni’s impressive four-goal performance was the highlight of Navua’s 6-2 triumph over champions Lautoka in Round 11 of the Digicel Fiji Premier League at the Uprising Sports Centre in Pacific Harbour.

Navua came out strong from the start, securing a 3-0 lead by halftime. Damuni netted two goals, while Rahul Krishna contributed another.

Despite Lautoka’s attempts to mount a comeback in the second half with goals from Ilimotama Jese and Sakaraia Naisua, Navua remained dominant.

Damuni completed his hat-trick and added a fourth goal, with Ali Mekawir also finding the back of the net to finalize a convincing win for the Saiyad Ali-coached team.
