Navua has proudly unveiled the “TrueKids Play Center,” a seven-million-dollar commercial hub officially inaugurated by the Grace Road Group. This exciting development represents a significant addition to the community, creating 50 new jobs and enhancing family-oriented services in the area.
The project, which took nearly five years to bring to fruition, features a comprehensive complex that includes a service station, supermarket, restaurant, fitness facilities, and an indoor playground. The lengthy timeline is attributed to the company’s phased development strategy, which allowed Grace Road Group to manage multiple agricultural and commercial initiatives simultaneously.
A representative from the Grace Road Group remarked on the careful planning involved in the project: “This is one of the big projects that we put into it. We planned this nearly five years ago, and slowly we managed to finish it. Everything we do is phased development, and finally, today, we opened.”
Particular attention was given to safety and quality during the construction of the center, with the play facility’s installation taking three months to meet rigorous safety standards. Currently, the center employs 35 staff members, including specialized childcare attendants, emergency safety officers, and security personnel available around the clock.
“Fiji is a young nation. Children need a safe, fun, and healthy environment to play, and parents also need time for themselves. This is a place where families can bring their children, relax, have a coffee, do some shopping, eat, and then go,” the spokesperson for Grace Road Group emphasized.
Looking ahead, the company plans to continue its expansion initiatives, with a similar facility set to open in Yadua before the year ends. Grace Road Group remains committed to creating integrated spaces that not only support community life but also stimulate local economic growth. This endeavor promises to enhance family experiences and foster a vibrant community environment.
