Navua, the finalist in the Inter District Championship, has secured its place in the upcoming Pacific Community Cup. This will mark the team’s debut in the tournament, which annually features Fiji’s top four districts.
Navua will compete alongside Labasa, the winners of the IDC; Rewa, who clinched the National League title; and Lautoka, the Fiji FACT and BOG champions. Lautoka amassed 13 points by winning both the Fiji FACT and BOG and finishing third in the DFPL, while Labasa gathered 11 points after placing second in the DFPL, reaching the semi-finals of the Fiji FACT, and winning the FMF IDC 2024.
Rewa qualified with nine points from their victories in the DFPL and semi-finals appearances in the BOG and IDC. Navua secured their position with eight points by reaching the finals of both the Fiji FACT and FMF IDC.
In addition to the Fijian districts, international teams including the USA All-Stars, AUFFI All-Stars, NZFFI All-Stars, and Auckland All-Stars will also participate. The tournament will be hosted by Australian Fiji Football Incorporated (AUFFI) at Churchill Park in Lautoka from November 28 to 30.
