Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka stated that forming a Government of National Unity would depend on constitutional provisions and parliamentary standing orders. He emphasized that any decision must consider these legal frameworks to ensure the stability and integrity of parliamentary careers.
Rabuka acknowledged the contributions of all members of Parliament, noting that everyone is working in the best interests of the people who elected them. He further commented on the status of the Coalition, stating that there had been no issues reported from within the Coalition, including both SODELPA and the Federation Party.
Despite external attempts to create disharmony, Rabuka assured that these efforts were not from official members of the political parties involved in the Coalition.
