The tragic incident involving Kushal Kumar and Sandeep Narayan of Navatu, Rakiraki, has concluded with the recovery of their bodies. The two men embarked on a fishing trip on Saturday night in a kayak but did not return home the following morning, leaving their families concerned and prompting them to seek help.

Following the alarm raised by their loved ones, a search operation was initiated. The kayak was located washed ashore in the waters of Navatu early Sunday morning, triggering further rescue efforts. Sadly, Kumar’s body, believed to be in his late twenties, was found in the afternoon, while Narayan’s body was recovered the next morning after ongoing searches conducted by the police and community teams.
