Celebrations erupted at Navala Catholic Primary School’s U14 girls’ camp following their impressive 20-5 victory over the favored Namosau Methodist Primary School in the U14 girls’ 7s final. The match took place at the Ba Primary School Rugby finals held at AD Patel School ground last week.

Navala made a strong start, scoring two unanswered tries in the opening 10 minutes, demonstrating both their attacking skill and strong defense, leading 10-0 at halftime.

In the second half, Navala maintained control of the game, adding two more tries, while Namosau managed to score only once. The final score stood at 20-5 in favor of Navala.

Navala’s coach, Seresio Nabuli, emphasized the importance of teamwork and expressed their determination to win after finishing as runners-up last year.

“I just reminded the girls to work as a team and play their hearts out. We came this year to win,” Nabuli stated.
