Nausori’s New Smoothie Haven: Fresh Flavors on the Rise!

Marika Senilagakali, a 26-year-old entrepreneur, has opened a smoothie bar called “Pacific Haven” in Nausori Town. Contrary to his initial expectations for the future, managing a business has presented both excitement and challenges.

Despite limited experience in entrepreneurship, Senilagakali has teamed up with shop owner Nacanieli Rakotuinasigana to start this new venture, which is situated next to Rakotuinasigana’s other business, ‘The Pork Shop’, currently operated from abroad.

Pacific Haven features a diverse menu of smoothies made from fresh, locally sourced fruits and vegetables, including flavors like coconut, pineapple, ginger, and watermelon. Senilagakali chose Nausori for its strategic location, positioned at the intersection of Tailevu, Naitasiri, and Rewa provinces, which allows easy access to high-quality ingredients.

The entrepreneur recognized a growing demand for healthier options in the community, leading to the decision to diversify the offerings alongside the meat-focused Pork Shop. He aims to provide nutritious, delicious beverages that complement existing products and appeal to health-conscious customers.

Since the bar’s opening, Senilagakali reports that business has been thriving, with enthusiastic customer feedback shaping their operations. The positive responses highlight the importance of quality, freshness, unique flavors, and excellent customer service.

Senilagakali aspires to build a strong brand recognized for its commitment to health and quality. He believes that a successful business requires passion, the support of mentors and peers, continuous learning, and an adaptable mindset. Additionally, he stresses the importance of having a detailed business plan to guide entrepreneurs in navigating the evolving business landscape.
