Nauru President David Adeang has expressed his profound sorrow in response to the tragic shooting that occurred at Bondi Beach, branding it a horrific and senseless act of terror. In a heartfelt letter to Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, President Adeang relayed Nauru’s condolences, highlighting the deep sadness experienced due to the loss of life and the injuries inflicted by this attack.
Adeang conveyed his sympathies on behalf of the Government and people of Nauru, stating, “Nauru is profoundly saddened by the loss of life, the injuries sustained, and trauma caused by this appalling act of violence.” He emphasized that those affected by the tragedy are in Nauru’s thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
