Founded approximately 20 years ago, the mission aims to support rural communities in Fiji by providing a range of medical services and wellness education, while also serving as a hub for visiting volunteers.
The Mission operates as a non-denominational, faith-based nonprofit organization, attracting volunteers from various religious backgrounds who share a commitment to selfless service. Doctors and their support teams work diligently to provide care, honing their skills through years of experience and embodying the warmth characteristic of Fiji. Each year, up to 20 medical teams from around the globe volunteer at Natuvu, offering invaluable medical assistance to locals while bringing back cherished memories of their cultural experiences.
