The Natabua U18 girls’ rugby team is refining its game plan as they prepare to compete against the U18 Raluve champions, Dawasamu Secondary, in the semi-finals tomorrow at HFC Stadium.

With participants ranging from Year 9 to 13, the team is filled with enthusiasm for the tough match ahead against the Tailevu-based school.

Head coach Inoke Vucago expressed gratitude for the continuous support from both parents and the school, highlighting its importance to their preparation. “Our preparation has been going well, and our biggest supporters are our parents and the school. Parents are coming out in full force to support us,” Vucago stated.

The coaching staff includes talented individuals, such as former Flying Fijians fly-half and Queen Victoria School Deans player Waisea Luveniyali, alongside Yasawa head coach Taione Ratu. Their experience is expected to play a significant role in leading the team through this critical match.

As the Natabua girls gear up for the important game, their commitment and steadfast backing from the community position them as strong contenders.
