Natabua Shocks Defending Champions: New Faces in the Under-18 Final!

Natabua High School has emerged as a new champion in this year’s Weet-Bix Raluve Under-18 competition after defeating defending titleholders Dawasamu Secondary School 27-22 in the second semifinal match this afternoon.

The match began with Natabua High School taking the lead with an early converted try. However, Dawasamu Secondary maintained their composure and managed to narrow the score to 7-5 at halftime.

In the second half, Natabua quickly scored another try, extending their lead. Despite Dawasamu’s swift response, Natabua surged ahead with two more tries. Dawasamu showcased their fighting spirit by scoring a third try, but Natabua was able to penetrate their defense one last time, securing a fourth try to clinch the victory.

With this win, Natabua High School is set to compete against Adi Cakobau School in the Under-18 final next weekend.
