Katea Ravouvou’s two tries propelled Natabua High School to a 20-15 win over Adi Cakobau School in the exciting Raluve Trophy Under-18 final.
Natabua began strong, with center Ruth Tuitabou scoring the opening try, although the conversion was missed. Adi Cakobau quickly equalized through halfback Noelani Baselala, making the score 5-5.
Just before halftime, Natabua’s winger Katea Ravouvou crossed the line again, bringing the score to 10-5 at the break.
After the halftime interval, Ravouvou added her second try, though once more, the conversion was unsuccessful, extending Natabua’s lead to 15-5. Following this, Laisani Gudrunalawalawa scored another try for Natabua, pushing their advantage to 20-5.
Adi Cakobau fought back, with tries from Roiva Kalouniuca and Imeri Nasali, cutting the deficit to 20-15. Despite their strong comeback efforts, they could not equalize, allowing Natabua to celebrate their championship victory.
