This year’s Weet-Bix Raluve Under-18 competition will have a new champion as Natabua High School eliminated the defending champions, Dawasamu Secondary School, with a score of 27-22 in the second semifinal held this afternoon.

Natabua High School started strong, scoring an early converted try. Dawasamu Secondary kept their composure and managed to narrow the gap to 7-5 by halftime.

In the second half, the Lautoka team quickly added another try to their tally. Although Dawasamu responded with a try of their own, Natabua extended their lead by scoring two tries in quick succession.

Despite Dawasamu’s determination, which included a third try that showcased their fighting spirit, Natabua broke through their defense once more to secure their fourth try and clinch the victory.

Natabua High School will now compete against Adi Cakobau School in the Under-18 final next weekend.
