Katea Ravouvou’s impressive performance, including two tries, led Natabua High School to a 20-15 victory against Adi Cakobau School in an exciting Raluve Trophy Under-18 final.
Natabua initially took the lead with a try from center Ruth Tuitabou, although the conversion was unsuccessful. Adi Cakobau School quickly equalized with a try from halfback Noelani Baselala, making the score 5-5.
Just before halftime, Natabua’s winger, Katea Ravouvou, scored a try, giving her team a 10-5 advantage at the break.
In the second half, Ravouvou added her second try, though once again the conversion was missed. Natabua then extended their lead to 20-5 with another try from Laisani Gudrunalawalawa.
Despite strong attempts from ACS, including tries from Roiva Kalouniuca and Imeri Nasali, they could only narrow the score to 20-15. Ultimately, Natabua secured the championship title.
