Katea Ravouvou’s two tries led Natabua High School to a 20-15 win over Adi Cakobau School in the exciting final of the Raluve Trophy Under-18 competition. Natabua opened the scoring with a try from center Ruth Tuitabou, although the conversion attempt was unsuccessful.
Adi Cakobau responded swiftly with a try from halfback Noelani Baselala, equalizing the match at 5-5. Just before halftime, Natabua’s winger Katea Ravouvou added another try, giving her team a 10-5 lead at the break.
In the second half, Ravouvou scored again, but the conversion missed. Natabua then widened the gap to 20-5 with a try from Laisani Gudrunalawalawa. In a determined effort, Adi Cakobau fought back with tries from Roiva Kalouniuca and Imeri Nasali, closing the score to 20-15. Despite their strong push, they couldn’t take the lead, allowing Natabua to secure the championship title.
