Natabua High School has reclaimed the Weet-Bix Raluve under-18 title, returning to the top after their first victory in 2022. The Lautoka school triumphed in Suva, overcoming Adi Cakobau School with a score of 20-15.
Laisani Mudunalalawa was a standout player for Natabua, playing a crucial role in every try and demonstrating tenacity on defense. Despite ACS’s effort to stage a comeback with two tries in the second half, they fell short as time was not in their favor.
Head coach Inoke Vucago expressed pride in his team’s hard work and preparation, emphasizing that they deserved the victory. Reflecting on last year’s quarter-final loss, he noted the team’s determination to avoid that pain, reinforcing their commitment to reclaiming the championship title.
The team’s strategy includes nurturing talent by integrating players from years nine through thirteen, ensuring a promising future.
