Nasinu Secondary School will return to its traditional navy-blue jersey for today’s Vodafone Super Deans under-18 final against Queen Victoria School.
Following their respective semi-final victories last weekend, there was considerable discussion regarding the jerseys of both schools. Throughout the Fiji Secondary School Rugby Union season, both teams wore sky-blue jerseys, but to prevent any confusion during the final, Nasinu will once again wear their customary navy-blue.
“The jerseys were delivered to Nasinu Secondary School today. The traditional color of Nasinu is navy-blue, and QVS will wear their sky-blue jerseys,” confirmed FSSRU vice president Savenaca Muamua.
In addition to this change, FSSRU’s operational protocols remain unchanged, with police present at the venue to ensure a safe and secure environment for the games. Attendees will undergo bag checks prior to entry.
All matches, including the Weet-Bix Raluve finals, will take place at the main HFC Bank Stadium. Teams should also be aware of scouts in attendance, as players from schools like Lami High have already been identified by the Fijian Drua academy.
The finals of the Deans tournament will start today at 8 am.
