A new champion is set to emerge in the 2025 Vodafone Deans U18 Championship, with Nasinu Secondary School upsetting last year’s title holder, Queen Victoria School (QVS), in a nail-biting quarter-final held at Churchill Park. The match concluded with a score of 20-20, but according to Fiji Secondary School Rugby Union regulations, Nasinu was declared the winner due to their greater number of tries, scoring three compared to QVS’s two.

This thrilling match was part of an engaging quarter-final weekend that saw packed venues at both Churchill Park and Prince Charles Park, as fans passionately supported their respective schools. In addition to the U18 clash, various exciting results emerged across different age categories, including the U14, U15, U16, U17, and U19 divisions.

Notably, the U14 matches featured QVS securing a dominating 44-0 victory over Nasinu, while RKS achieved a strong performance by outscoring Marist 27-19 in the U15 category. The competition was rife with anticipation as teams continue to battle for a spot in the next round.
