National striker Merrill Nand scored three goals in a remarkable performance as Suva secured a dominant 5-0 victory over Tailevu Naitasiri in Round 13 of the Digicel Fiji Premier League at the Uprising Sports Centre in Pacific Harbour.
In addition to Nand’s hat-trick, Ni-Vanuatu Joe Moses and Solomon Islander Jaygrey Sipakana contributed with the other two goals, marking Suva’s largest win of the season.
This victory moves Flick Hygiene Suva up to eighth place in the league standings, tying with Nasinu on 12 points, although they boast a better goal difference. Meanwhile, Tailevu Naitasiri continues to struggle at the bottom of the table, remaining with just 8 points.
