Nalaubu got Lautoka on the scoreboard early, but the hosts equalized with a penalty conversion by William Valentine. Just before halftime, Lautoka was awarded a penalty, which Nalaubu successfully converted, giving his team a 2-1 lead at the break. In the second half, he completed his hat-trick, although Nadi’s Apolosi Seru managed to score, narrowing the gap.
