National striker Sairusi Nalaubu achieved a remarkable hat-trick as Lautoka triumphed over Nadi with a score of 3-2 in an exciting Round 14 matchup of the Digicel Fiji Premier League, held at Prince Charles Park.
Nalaubu got Lautoka on the scoreboard early in the game, but William Valentine equalized for Nadi from the penalty spot. Before halftime, Lautoka was awarded a penalty, which Nalaubu successfully converted to give his team a 2-1 advantage at the break.
In the second half, Nalaubu solidified Lautoka’s lead, although Nadi’s Apolosi Seru responded with a second goal for his team, striving to alter the outcome. With this victory, Flick Hygiene Lautoka holds third place in the standings with 25 points, while Nadi sits in fourth with 21 points.
