National striker Sairusi Nalaubu achieved a remarkable hat-trick as Lautoka triumphed over Nadi with a score of 3-2 in a captivating match of the Digicel Fiji Premier League Round 14 at Prince Charles Park.
Nalaubu kicked off the scoring for Lautoka in the early stages of the game, but William Valentine equalized for Nadi from the penalty spot. Later in the first half, Lautoka was awarded a penalty, and Nalaubu successfully converted it, giving them a 2-1 lead at halftime.
In the second half, Nalaubu secured Lautoka’s victory with his third goal, despite Nadi putting pressure on the scoreline by scoring their second goal through young player Apolosi Seru.
Flick Hygiene Lautoka currently sits in third place with 25 points, while Nadi is in fourth with 21 points.
