Defending champions Naitasiri Secondary School in the Vodafone Fiji Secondary Schools Rugby League showcased their prowess once again, securing a commanding 32-12 victory over Nasikawa Vision College in the quarter-finals held recently. This win propels them into the semi-finals, which will take place at Garvey Park in Tavua next Saturday.

Naitasiri’s remarkable performance is underpinned by a combination of physical intensity and tactical execution, honed over years of playing together since their U17 days. Their captain, Taniela Mudunasaki, praised the team’s chemistry and emphasized the power of faith, stating, “This journey, we just must have faith in the Lord. As defending champions, we don’t want it to come down to the wire again like last year.”

The younger age divisions also saw exciting matches, with other significant results including Marist Storm defeating Sigatoka Valley 26-2 and MGM Dragons besting Drasa Rams 28-6.
