Nadroga ensured their safety from relegation with a decisive 4-1 win over Tailevu Naitasiri during Round 17 of the Digicel Premier League at Lawaqa Park in Sigatoka. Before the match, Nadroga was positioned with 14 points, just two ahead of Tailevu Naitasiri.
The Stallions took a commanding lead into halftime, scoring three goals through Semesa Sacere, Joel Chand, and Abhishek Ram. Sakeo Taganeca added a fourth goal for Nadroga from the penalty spot, while Tailevu Naitasiri managed to score a consolation goal in the second half.
This victory secures Nadroga’s place in the upcoming FMF IDC and ensures their spot in the Premier Division until 2025. In contrast, the defeat leaves Tailevu Naitasiri struggling in the relegation zone alongside bottom-placed Nasinu.
