Nadroga has secured its safety from relegation after a resounding 4-1 win over Tailevu Naitasiri in Round 17 of the Digicel Premier League at Lawaqa Park in Sigatoka. Prior to the match, Nadroga had accumulated 14 points, sitting just two points ahead of Tailevu Naitasiri.
The Stallions dominated the first half, leading 3-0 with goals from Semesa Sacere, Joel Chand, and Abhishek Ram. Goalkeeper Sakeo Taganeca added a fourth goal from the penalty spot in the second half, while Tailevu Naitasiri managed to find the net for a consolation goal.
This victory secures Nadroga’s position in the safe zone, ensuring their participation in the upcoming FMF IDC and confirming their place in the Premier Division for the 2025 season. Conversely, the defeat leaves Tailevu Naitasiri in a precarious position, alongside bottom-placed Nasinu.
