Nadroga secured their safety from relegation with a commanding 4-1 win over Tailevu Naitasiri in Round 17 of the Digicel Premier League, held at Lawaqa Park in Sigatoka. Entering the match, Nadroga had accumulated 14 points, placing them two points ahead of Tailevu Naitasiri.
The Stallions dominated the first half, leading 3-0 at halftime with goals from Semesa Sacere, Joel Chand, and Abhishek Ram. Goalkeeper Sakeo Taganeca scored from the penalty spot to add the fourth goal for Nadroga, while Tailevu Naitasiri managed to find the net in the second half with a consolation goal.
This victory ensures that Nadroga remains in a secure position and confirms their spot in the upcoming FMF IDC and the Premier Division for 2025. Conversely, the defeat continues to leave Tailevu Naitasiri in a precarious position, close to the bottom alongside Nasinu.
