Nadroga has secured its safety from relegation following a commanding 4-1 win over Tailevu Naitasiri in Round 17 of the Digicel Premier League at Lawaqa Park in Sigatoka. Before the match, Nadroga was sitting on 14 points, just two ahead of Tailevu Naitasiri.
The Stallions found themselves leading 3-0 at halftime with goals contributed by Semesa Sacere, Joel Chand, and Abhishek Ram. In the second half, goalkeeper Sakeo Taganeca scored their fourth goal from the penalty spot, while Tailevu Naitasiri managed to net a consolation goal later in the game.
With this victory, Nadroga has secured a place in the upcoming FMF IDC and will remain in the Premier Division through 2025. Conversely, the defeat places Tailevu Naitasiri at risk, keeping them in the relegation zone alongside bottom-placed Nasinu.
