Nadroga has secured its safety from relegation following a decisive 4-1 win over Tailevu Naitasiri in Round 17 of the Digicel Premier League at Lawaqa Park in Sigatoka. Prior to the match, the Stallions had accumulated 14 points, which was two points ahead of Tailevu Naitasiri.
Nadroga dominated the first half, going into halftime with a 3-0 lead thanks to goals from Semesa Sacere, Joel Chand, and Abhishek Ram. In the second half, goalkeeper Sakeo Taganeca extended their lead by converting a penalty, while Tailevu Naitasiri managed to score a consolation goal.
This victory assures Nadroga of a place in the upcoming FMF IDC and guarantees their position in the Premier Division for 2025. Meanwhile, Tailevu Naitasiri remains in the relegation zone alongside bottom-placed Nasinu.
